LONGWELL · Industry applications
Find the right airflow solution for your equipment.
Start with what your equipment needs to do. Explore fan and blower options for HVAC, cleanrooms, refrigeration, electronics and OEM equipment—then build a selection around your operating point.

What equipment are you developing?
Use these application routes to identify a suitable fan arrangement and the information needed for an engineering review. Product images illustrate available fan families; they do not identify a completed customer installation.

Building HVAC & air handling
Compare the fan at your coil and filter resistance, with room for installation and service.

Cleanroom & filtered air
Start with filter resistance, target air delivery and the available housing depth. Review the motor and impeller as an assembly.

Data centers & precision cooling
Review fan-array layout, access and control behavior across the required operating range.

Refrigeration & cold chain
Match the air path and fan arrangement to the heat exchanger, ambient conditions and moisture exposure.

Heat pumps & heating terminals
Review coil airflow and outdoor noise for heat pumps, or a compact air path for indoor heating terminals.

Appliances & air curtains
Review cross-flow fans for a long, narrow outlet and centrifugal fans where the equipment needs more pressure.

Equipment & electronics cooling
Build the selection around the heat load, enclosure airflow path and the actual resistance of grilles or filters.

Fresh air & agricultural ventilation
Choose the air-moving arrangement around duct resistance, air distribution and the operating environment.

FFU & filtered-air selection
Review the housing, filter condition and motor–impeller arrangement before comparing fan options.

Make the first review useful
Send the equipment brief, not just a fan diameter.
01 · Air duty
Required airflow and pressure at the same operating point, with filter and coil conditions.
02 · Mechanical fit
Available envelope, mounting pattern, inlet and outlet arrangement, plus service access.
03 · Power & control
Supply voltage and frequency, speed command, feedback signal and connector requirements.
04 · Validation needs
Temperature, noise target, exposure conditions and model-specific documents required for the destination market.

Each guide follows the airflow through one machine, identifies the fan's task and lists the inputs needed for a useful LONGWELL selection review.
Dry-type transformers reject winding and core losses by natural convection. In a design prepared for forced-air cooling, bottom-mounted cross-flow fans can distribute air along the coil width and support upward flow through the winding channels.
