Industrial centrifugal fan is specifically designed for heavy industry, factory workshops, large-scale HVAC systems, air handling units (AHUs), chemical plants, mines, and environments characterized by high temperature, high pressure, or corrosive conditions. It typically features casings constructed from thickened carbon steel or aluminum alloy, offering high mechanical strength, exceptional robustness, and long service life.
An industrial centrifugal fan primarily consists of an impeller, a collector, a volute casing, and a motor. During operation, the airflow is axially drawn into the center of the impeller; driven by the centrifugal force generated by the impeller’s rotation, the airflow is accelerated and deflected 90° in a radial direction. It then enters the volute casing or diffuser chamber, where it decelerates and expands, converting the kinetic energy of the high-velocity airflow directly into static pressure required to overcome pipeline resistance.
Industrial centrifugal fan is primarily available in 2 series: backward-type and forward-type. Backward curved industrial centrifugal fan can achieve a static pressure of up to 1,800 Pa and a airflow rate ranging from 500 to 30,000 m³/h, making it suitable for medium-to-high pressure industrial ventilation applications like AHUs, data centers, and RTUs. Forward curved model offers a static pressure range of 0–800 Pa and an airflow rate of 100–8,000 m³/h, making it ideal for low-pressure, compact applications such as FCUs and small-scale units.
Industrial centrifugal fan is constructed from stainless steel or features protective coatings, providing exceptional corrosion resistance. Equipped with explosion-proof motors, it can operate safely in environments characterized by high dust concentrations or elevated temperatures.
Thanks to the precision-engineered impeller and housing, the operating noise of industrial centrifugal fan is minimized. The minimum noise level can reach 19 dB(A), meeting your exhaust ventilation requirements in applications with stringent noise control standards.
With over 20 diameter options and 16 different airflow directions, Longwell industrial centrifugal fan can be applied across a wide range of industries. We also offer customized industrial ventilation solutions tailored to your specific operating conditions.
The design of an extremely narrow gap between the nozzle and the impeller inlet maximizes aerodynamic efficiency, enabling mechanical efficiencies as high as 86% even under high-load operating conditions.

Our heavy-duty centrifugal fan is specifically designed to withstand extreme flue gas conditions ranging from 250 °C to 400 °C, as well as static pressures exceeding 3,000–10,000 Pa. It is ideally suited for the harsh and demanding operating environments in which boiler induced draft fans operate.

After fluid dynamics simulations, our industrial centrifugal fan impeller has eliminated the 180° airflow blind spot, thereby preventing excessive dust accumulation on the blades. It is widely applied in industrial workshops for debris recovery, welding fume purification, and paint mist treatment.

Indoor HVAC systems in large shopping malls, hospitals, office buildings, and similar facilities have stringent noise requirements. Industrial centrifugal fans, with their exceptionally quiet performance—reaching as low as 19 dB—have become the preferred choice for air handling units, fresh air systems, and other similar applications.

Central kitchens, school cafeterias, and medium-to-large-scale restaurants require robust exhaust ventilation systems, given their extended exhaust ducts and the large volume of viscous cooking fumes that must be removed. High-capacity industrial centrifugal fans are well-suited to address these requirements.

The primary reason why industrial centrifugal fans are highly suitable for chemical plants is their excellent corrosion resistance and high explosion-proof grade of IP55. The acidic, alkaline, or flammable and explosive gases emitted by chemical plants will not cause damage to these fans.

Absolutely. Just send us your current part number. Our engineering team will provide a 1:1 cross-reference within 24 hours. We ensure exact matches for P-Q performance curves, mounting dimensions, and flange patterns, so you can swap it out without altering your existing ductwork or equipment.
No. Unlike standard commercial fans that stall under pressure, our industrial centrifugal fans are built specifically for high static loads. Whether you’re pushing air through thick HEPA filters, multi-story ductwork, or complex heat exchangers, the optimized impeller design ensures stable, high-volume air delivery without choking.
They are built for 24/7 heavy-duty operation. We use thickened carbon steel (or stainless steel) housings treated with industrial-grade anti-corrosion coatings. For extremely hot or greasy conditions, we offer isolated drive configurations to keep the motor safely out of the airstream, preventing overheating and drastically extending the fan’s lifespan.
Yes. We know standard off-the-shelf sizes don’t always fit. We offer flexible discharge angles (from 0° to 270°), custom mounting brackets, specific voltage/frequency requirements, and bare-shaft options. Our engineers can quickly modify standard designs to fit seamlessly into your machinery.
Standard models usually ship within a few days from our stock, while custom configurations take about 2 to 3 weeks. Before leaving the factory, every fan undergoes strict G2.5 dynamic balancing and a full-load run test. We pack them in reinforced, moisture-proof plywood crates so they arrive at your facility in perfect condition and ready to run.
