Application engineering note
Poultry house ventilation starts with a required air-exchange pattern and airflow schedule. The fan enquiry should connect those building requirements to the resistance of the actual inlet and exhaust arrangement.
Define the operating points
Include cooling pads, shutters, guards and other restrictions in the airflow path. Provide the airflow required at the corresponding building pressure for each ventilation mode. A maximum-airflow figure from an unrestricted fan specification is insufficient to define the installed system.
LONGWELL’s LWAE family uses EC axial fan configurations. The exact motor supply, mounting construction and control functions depend on the selected model. Specify whether the equipment needs a wall assembly, a duct connection or another mounting arrangement so the proposal matches the building interface.
Coordinate operation and maintenance
Provide the control sequence, required speed range and any status feedback used by the ventilation controller. Describe the ambient temperatures, humidity, dust exposure and cleaning method expected at the fan location.
Show the mounting opening, electrical connections, protection and service access on the installation drawing. The completed ventilation system should be assessed against the airflow and distribution criteria defined for the building. Fan selection is one part of that system; the housing layout, control sequence and maintenance conditions are also part of the specification.
