On September 7, 2026, a customer reported that the rubber bushing on a cross flow impeller had fractured during testing in equipment operating at 3000 r/min. LONGWELL’s sales and engineering teams reviewed a revision using existing thicker rubber and aluminium-sleeve components.

Change the hub specification
The request called for the thicker components without a new mould and also specified barbed balance weights. The engineering response was recorded in the LWPI-180×310-02 impeller drawing package, which completed technical review on September 9.
The drawing calls out a thickened bushing with neoprene rubber and counterweights with barbs. These details make the requested component changes explicit for the part’s engineering and inspection review.
Geometry defined by the drawing
| Feature | Drawing specification |
|---|---|
| Impeller outside diameter | 180 mm |
| Overall width | 310 ± 2 mm |
| Shaft bore | 12 mm, H7 tolerance |
| Rotation | CCW from the indicated shaft-end view |
| Impeller material | AS + 30% glass fibre |
The documented output is a revised part specification. The customer’s 3000 r/min operating condition remains a requirement for the intended equipment evaluation; the drawing package does not establish a completed retest at that speed.
