On August 11, 2026, LONGWELL received a cross flow fan development request for a vertical-shaft installation inside a warm equipment enclosure. The customer wanted a complete housing, variable speed and a rear-inlet, front-outlet airflow arrangement.

Customer targets and the proposed geometry
The preferred active impeller length was 600–700 mm, with a preferred diameter of 45–60 mm. The request also set airflow, pressure and acoustic targets, including a normal-operation noise target of no more than 45 dB(A) at one metre.
The engineering team proposed an EC configuration with an 80 mm diameter and 620 mm impeller length. The LWCE-80620SN-07-00 drawing and 3D model package completed technical review on August 14.
What the output drawing defines
| Parameter | Drawing specification |
|---|---|
| Supply | 230 V, 50/60 Hz |
| Speed | 1500 r/min |
| Speed command | 0–10 V / PWM |
| Feedback | FG output |
| Overall length | 732 ± 2 mm |
The proposal uses a larger impeller diameter than the customer’s initial preference. Its air-volume field is unfilled. Airflow at the required pressure, acoustic performance and vertical-installation suitability therefore remain part of the configuration evaluation. This case documents the geometry and control proposal prepared for that review.
