On September 7, 2026, LONGWELL’s sales team recorded a customer request to integrate a cross flow fan into a sun umbrella frame. Following a video discussion, the customer asked for samples based on a second mechanical layout.

Proposed cross-flow fan outline for the umbrella frame: 421 ±2 mm overall length.

What the revised layout required

The request removed the guard and L-shaped plate from the proposed assembly and called for wider side plates. The fan, motor and fixing arrangement had to be considered within the umbrella’s frame rather than selected as a separate ventilation unit.

Technical review of LONGWELL’s LWCD-50360MN-01-00 drawing package was completed on September 8. The project also included a manufacturing drawing for the mounting work.

Documented fan configuration

Parameter Drawing specification
Motor supply 24 VDC
Speed 2000 ± 10% r/min
Speed command and feedback 0–10 V, FG output
Impeller diameter 50 mm
Overall length 421 ± 2 mm

The output drawing defines the fan’s mechanical and control interfaces. Its air-volume field is unfilled, so the required airflow through the umbrella assembly needs separate confirmation. The documented result is the drawing package for the proposed configuration and sample preparation.
