Customer Requirement

An HVAC OEM requested a high static pressure solution. The target performance is 1000 Pa static pressure at an airflow of 700 m³/h. They specified a forward-curved centrifugal fan with an impeller diameter of 200mm. The EC motor needs to be integrated with building management systems (BMS) via a 0-10V or similar control signal.

The centrifugal fan also needed a suitable operating temperature range and protection rate against dust. The customer also requested complete technical specifications and performance data tested according to ISO 5801. The final equipment units would be sold in European and North American markets, so CE and ETL certifications were required.
