An EC or AC axial fan price is useful only when it describes the fan your equipment needs. Diameter alone does not define airflow, mounting, controls or the installed operating point. For a data center dry cooler, an inexpensive mismatched fan can leave the coil short of airflow or require changes to the panel and controller.

Which part of data center cooling are you buying?
A dry cooler transfers heat from a liquid circuit through a finned heat exchanger to ambient air. Its fans must move air through the coil and the surrounding inlet, guard and discharge arrangement. A free-air catalogue airflow value is not the same as installed coil airflow.
Cooling towers involve a different water-side process and wet operating conditions. Air-cooled chiller condensers have their own coil duty. Indoor CRAH and CRAC fan sections are another task again. These axial candidates need equipment-specific review; they are not complete dry coolers, cooling towers or data center cooling systems. EC and AC axial fan configurations
The catalogued EC series uses an internal-rotor motor and square mounting panel, with TS suction and TT blowing variants. Series information lists three-phase 380–460 V, 50/60 Hz and 0–10 VDC/PWM control; the individual technical-table rows state three-phase 380 V. Confirm the exact electrical and controller configuration for your order.
The AC candidates use cylindrical housings and are presented for fixed-speed applications: three-phase 380 V, 50 Hz, with four-pole Ø500/630 mm and six-pole Ø800 mm configurations. Changing from AC to EC therefore requires a review of both mechanical fit and electrical interfaces.
Nine complete models for a quotation shortlist
Use the complete code, including the suffix and airflow direction. A shared diameter does not make suction and blowing versions interchangeable. The 12-page axial fan technical brochure contains the corresponding model data, curves and dimensions.

What determines a dry cooler fan price?
The quotation follows the selected configuration, order quantity, validation requirements, packaging and delivery terms. An EC axial fan price comparison should include the required controller and signals. An AC quotation should identify the proposed motor and supply. Neither should be compared with a bare impeller or motor-only price.
- Duty point: required airflow and static pressure together, including coil and accessory resistance.
- Installation: panel or fan-ring geometry, mounting holes, available depth, airflow direction and service access.
- Electrical and controls: voltage, frequency, phase, speed command, monitoring and required fault response.
- Site conditions: entering-air temperature, moisture, chemical exposure and acoustic requirements.
- Supply scope: complete model, quantity, samples, documentation, packing and destination.

Compare performance before comparing project cost
Catalogue airflow and maximum static pressure are different points on a fan curve; they must not be combined into one promised duty. The three AC technical tables do not state a maximum-static-pressure number. Use the corresponding curve and confirm the required operating point.
Compare procurement and operating cost separately. Part-load operation, control strategy, measured input power and annual running hours determine the energy comparison. Without those inputs, a universal saving percentage or payback period would not describe your project.
The brochure lists IP55 for these EC series and IP54 for these AC series. Those ratings alone do not establish suitability for spray, water-treatment chemicals or every cooling-tower fan position. Agree the installation environment and exact model documentation before approval.

Before approving a sample, agree which installation, control and operating checks your equipment team will perform. This keeps the quoted part and the tested assembly on the same basis.

Can I request sample and production quotations?
Yes. State the sample quantity and expected production quantity separately so the proposed configuration and supply scope can be reviewed.
Does a fan quotation include a complete dry cooler?
No. Confirm whether the request is for a complete fan, a component or a wider assembly. Coil, hydraulic and equipment-level thermal design belong to a separate scope.
Can a matching diameter confirm a replacement?
No. Check the full code, curve, mounting, direction, supply and control interface. Review the drawing and agree sample validation before treating a candidate as interchangeable.
