Installation and control vs the RZR: what to check

Frame & dimensions

A plug fan has no scroll: the impeller blows freely into the AHU section from a wall plate with an inlet nozzle, so the belt-driven RZR, its motor, slide rails and outlet transition are all removed. The wall plate and nozzle cut-outs are made to the LONGWELL drawings on the model pages. Where a ducted scroll outlet must be kept, a plug fan is not the right replacement — ask engineering.

Drive & motor options

LONGWELL builds direct-drive fans only: external-rotor AC motors as standard on the LWFA-E blowers (220–230 V 1Φ), EC motors on the LWDD blowers and on the LWBE3G plug fans (230 V 1Φ or 380–400 V 3Φ, 0–10 V / PWM / Modbus RTU). There is no belt-drive variant and no "-K" designation.

RZR 355–560 duties are covered by a single LWBE3G355–LWBE3G560 unit; RZR 710–1000 duties (up to 120,000 m³/h) by a FanGrid of two to six LWBE3G560/630 units, each up to 23,896 m³/h, running part-load where EC efficiency is highest.
