How Ionized Air Releases Dust Inside Empty Bottles

Ionized-air cleaning combines two different actions: electrical neutralization reduces static attraction, and directed airflow transports the loosened dry particles out of the container. A complete process also controls the quality of the supplied air and the destination of removed dust.

01 / Application principle

Follow the airflow through the equipment

01

Supply filtered air

The blower drives air through the specified filtration and delivery path. Its operating requirement includes the resistance of these components.

02

Neutralize static attraction

An independently powered ionizing element introduces ions that help reduce surface charge and electrostatic adhesion.

03

Sweep the container

In the illustrated inverted-bottle arrangement, directed air reaches the interior and carries released particles toward the open mouth.

04

Collect removed debris

A designed collection path limits re-deposition. Capture airflow is a separate system duty when an extraction arrangement is used.

02 / Airflow function

What the fan contributes

  • Delivers the required air stream to the ionizing manifold.
  • Maintains useful flow against filter and delivery-path resistance.
  • Provides an air-supply duty that can be supervised independently of the ionizer.
Air-path check

What interrupts the intended process

  • Airflow continues but a failed ionizer leaves static attraction.
  • Filter loading reduces the useful jet at the bottle.
  • An inadequate escape or collection path allows debris to remain or settle again.

Match the fan to this air path

Evaluate a LONGWELL centrifugal air-supply design using the complete filtered-air duty. Treat the ionizer, filtration, bottle handling and debris collection as separately specified parts of the machine. A blower product does not supply or validate the electrical neutralization function.

Where it sits

In the filtered supply route to the independently powered ionizing manifold; debris extraction is separate.

Why consider this configuration

A centrifugal air source can be matched to filter/manifold resistance but does not perform electrical neutralization.

05 / Equipment validation

Check performance in the assembled equipment

Test representative particles inside the actual containers at production speed.
Check airflow with realistic filter loading and the installed manifold.
Validate ionizer operation and debris collection independently of fan rotation.
