How it works — three steps

  1. Enter airflow and static pressure. Use the units you have: m³/h, CFM, l/s or m³/min for airflow; Pa, in. wg, mmH₂O or kPa for pressure. Filter by motor type (EC, AC or DC) if the application already fixes it. Typical starting points: a data-centre CRAH wall at 8,000 m³/h and 600 Pa, a compact AHU at 3,000 m³/h and 250 Pa, a cabinet cooler at 300 m³/h and 100 Pa.
  2. Read the shortlist. Every result shows how far the duty point sits inside the fan curve. A margin of 10–25 % is the usual comfort zone: enough reserve for filter loading and duct changes, not so much that the fan runs far from its best efficiency. Models are marked measured when the curve comes from our own test rig and digitised when it was taken from the published datasheet; models without a curve are shown as nameplate estimates so you can still compare them.
  3. Take the next step from the result. Open a model for its datasheet, dimensional drawing, wiring diagram and voltage options. Add several models to an RFQ list and send them as one request, download a PDF selection report you can attach to an internal approval, or send the shortlist to an engineer for a second opinion.

What every model page gives you

  • Maximum airflow and static pressure, input power, speed, noise and weight from the model’s own data set.
  • The performance curve, the dimensional drawing and the datasheet as PDF. CAD models (STEP, IGES, DWG) are released on request.
  • Voltage and frequency options, and the control interface for EC models: 0–10 V, PWM and Modbus RTU.
  • Certifications per model line: CE, RoHS and REACH across the range; ETL (UL 507 / CSA C22.2 No. 113) on the single-phase EC and DC centrifugal and cross flow lines.
  • Alternatives with the same impeller diameter, so a size decision can be checked against neighbouring models in one click.

When to talk to an engineer instead

The library covers impeller diameters from Ø24 mm to Ø1,000 mm and single-unit airflows up to about 61,000 m³/h. Above that, or for anything the standard listing does not cover, send the duty point to our engineers and they will propose a selection within one working day:

  • Duties larger than one fan: FanGrid arrays of EC plug fans for AHU and data-centre walls, including N+1 redundancy.
  • Special atmospheres: explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, high-temperature or cold-storage builds.
  • Non-standard electrical: 60 Hz, 460 V, 115 V or specific control protocols.
  • Complete units: fan coil units, poultry-house fans and rail-transit fans are selected by application rather than by curve.

What is the difference between a measured and a digitised curve?

A measured curve was recorded on our own test rig using AMCA 210 / ISO 5801 test methods. A digitised curve was traced from the published datasheet of that model. Both are shown as curves in the selector; the label tells you the source. Models without either are listed with their nameplate maximum airflow and pressure and a simple estimated curve, marked as such.

Can I get a quotation from the selector?

Yes. Add models to the RFQ list and submit it with your quantity and delivery address; the request reaches the sales desk with the curves and margins attached, so the reply is a priced proposal rather than a request for more information. Samples usually ship in 1–3 days from stock, series production in 15–30 days after order. Which units and voltages does it understand?

Airflow in m³/h, CFM, l/s or m³/min; pressure in Pa, in. wg, mmH₂O or kPa. Results are shown in the units you entered. Voltages are listed per model; most EC models are available in 230 V single-phase and 380–400 V three-phase versions, DC models in 12, 24 and 48 V.
